Challenge Materials
Does anybody have questions about the materials needed for the challenge? You received them by email, and they are listed below:
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
Candles:
6 Red
12 White (votives in containers or a way to contain 10 candles spread across a floor)
3 Light blue
2 Green
2 Blue
1 Pink
6 Purple
2 Black (it can be purple if you don’t find black)
2 Yellow
Other materials:
Enough paper and a pen or pencil
Your favorite tools for artistic expression(paint, musical instruments, etc.)
Incense (for three days)
A handful of sesame seeds
A small object that represents economic fortune (such as a shiny coin or a new bill)
Rose petals for Friday, May 15th
A container where you can light a small fire (you will use several times)
A clear container to put water in (you could use something that you already have, for example a salad bowl)
Essential oil, perfume or lotion of a smell you like
Medium Rope (to tie and untie knots)
A small black plastic bag
A clear glass (you could use one that you already have)
A small rock (to represent the earth)
A pot, soil and a seed

Oh, I just sent my question on the other page: should the candles be coloured through or is a coat of colour enough?

It is best if you can find candles that are colored all the way through, but if not, just colored on the outside is OK.
If you are really unable to find candles of the appropriate color at all, a serviceable (though not ideal) solution is to tie a string of the proper color around a white candle.
